Matsugami Ippei A string instrument maker with a workshop in Yamanashi Prefecture. He won the Sacconi Award at the Antonio Stradivari International String Instrument Making Competition, the highest award given to those under the age of 30. He mainly makes violas. He lends his violas to our orchestra.
Gen Nakabayashi A string instrument maker with a workshop in Niigata Prefecture. After enrolling at the Cremona International School of Violin Making, he worked in the workshops of Marco Nolli, a talented violin maker in Cremona, and Eric Blot, a world-renowned connoisseur, while honing his skills in instrument making and restoration. He is lending his piccolo violin to our orchestra.
